Connect a tool like Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Cursor to a workspace so it can work with your Dokki content directly — reading and editing documents, tables, and search, within the access you grant.
From the workspace, open Connect external clients (also labelled Connect via MCP). It walks you through each client:
Claude Code — copy the command and run it in your terminal.
Claude Desktop — go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL, and add the header shown.
Cursor — paste the config block into Cursor's config file and restart.
As part of this you'll generate an API key. Copy it before you close the dialog — it's shown only once. You can also reuse an existing key from your settings.
When to use a connector instead
This quick path is ideal for your own tools. For named credentials you can manage and revoke — especially for teams or external agents — use a Connector instead.
