Agents are AI teammates you install into a workspace. Where Copilot helps you in the moment, an agent has a standing job — its own memory, its own skills, and its own connections — and it can work on a schedule, even while you're away.
How agents work
You install an agent from the Marketplace — ready-made starting points like Research Analyst, Technical Writer, or Data Analyst — then make it your own.
Each agent keeps its own memory (facts it remembers from run to run), its own skills (reference documents it loads every time), and its own connections to outside tools.
It lives in a home workspace, and you can give it access to other workspaces you manage.
You chat with it like Copilot, or hand it recurring tasks it runs on a schedule.
Only workspace admins can install agents.
Where to find them
Open the Agents area for a workspace. Installed agents show as cards with their default model, how many times they've run, and their current status — Active, Working, Scheduled, or Paused.

Install & customize — pick an agent from the Marketplace and shape how it works.
Memory, skills & connections — what the agent remembers, reads, and can reach.
Runs & schedules — chatting with an agent and setting it to run on its own.
Connecting your own tools
You can also use Dokki itself from outside AI tools like Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Cursor. That's its own topic — see MCP Connections.
